Vibe Overlay ("the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the extension does and does not collect.
Vibe Overlay does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. All settings, profiles, rules and preferences are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API and never leave your browser.
If you purchase Vibe Overlay Pro, you will receive a license key from Gumroad. When you activate your key the extension sends it to Gumroad's API solely to verify it is a valid purchase. No personal information is sent or stored by us during this process. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs any data they collect.
storage — Used to save your animation profiles, domain rules and schedule settings locally on your device.
tabs — Used only to read the current tab's URL to match it against your saved domain rules. This data is never stored or transmitted.
host permissions — Required to inject the visual overlay animation on pages you assign. The extension does not read, modify or collect any page content.
The extension communicates with Gumroad's API (api.gumroad.com) only when a user manually enters and activates a Pro license key. No other third party services are used.
Vibe Overlay is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
If this privacy policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
